-We are saddened by the news that Nancy -- KØNNC passed away suddenly, on December 17th, 2018, from heart failure. Nancy, along with her husband Jim -- KAØNZZ, were active in starting up the club, and worked very hard at keeping it going throughout the years, until they relocated to Arizona. We are grateful to Nancy for all of her contributions of time and effort towards making the club, and the TechFest, a success.

-Jim has asked that anyone wishing to commemorate Nancy's life make a donation to the American Heart Association.

 +The club is discussing the development and installation of a remote station for club member use. This station will be accessible over the internet and be capable of operating FT8, and possibly other digital modes, phone, and CW. We currently have a location available and some surplus equipment with which to build the station. The club is looking for a member to spearhead this effort, resolving the details and implementing the station. Other club members are willing to help as needed.
